Good day folks. Hope you are healthy, happy and shinning where ever you are. It was yet another awesome week and we are putting some great plans into action to put iOPEX into the next orbit into exploring the vast IT space. As Chennai is warming up for the summer, I could feel the welcome warmth, turning into intensity and heat. All for good reasons. As wise men would say it's heat and pressure that converts coal into a diamond. And our OPEXWise offering is the final cutting and shining that give the diamond its class and valuation. And hence am happy every day that we are able to build people and teams into precious Gems.
Sometimes you don't have to wait decades for things to happen, you can be smart, learn new things and accelerate the transformation of you and your team. Or sometimes you do it for the benefit of people around you. If you are thinking what ?? Let me share the story of the film I watched this Sat. It's a Romantic Melodrama with Jaden Smith in the lead role. As an ardent fan of Will Smith, I started watching this kid's movie, ya he seems to be coming of age. The story is about how this kid who is a disciplined Harvard aspirant runs into an orphaned school dropout and falls in love with her. Soon he realizes she is dying and drops his Harvard dreams to help her lover live the entire Life before she dies - "Life in a Year ". How this journey changes him and he starts pursuing his own journey is amazingly narrated. He takes her on a date to impress and tirelessly asks for "one more " day or chance to impress her. These two words sum up the attitude we need to carry when life becomes tough on us. Push on you will find a way." When the going gets tough, the tough get going" - follow ur passion relentlessly and you are sure to succeed.
And in Iopex we have many such stories of young "never give up kids" who have rose to become leads and BU heads. If you bump into an old-timer just be curious and ask his story, you are sure to find some inspiration as I did. And so this week its no names or no individual's story to share ... Speak to the old-timers, you'll have many more stories than what I can write about and get inspired. Well, one such conversation with our founder and his story is what changed me.
